If you are wondering how Ben Hunter and Moran Elkarif have gotten away with this scam for so long without facing repercussions, well, they have only been able to do so because they have a lawyer that will do anything to defend them, including lie for them. This lawyer's name is Edrin Shamtob, who works under various company names including SNS Law Firm, Kerendian and Associates and Shamtob Law. Unfortunately I cannot be very specific about my interaction with Edrin without giving away my anonymity. Ben Hunter, Moran Elkarif and Jacqueline Toft Hunter have all harassed me in the past, using horrific and vile accusations that were clearly in retaliation for my honest reviews of their company. I wish to spare myself the time that it takes to counter the flood of ridiculousness that they consistantly put out online about me last year . For that reason, I do my best to conceal my identity, despite Ben, Moran and Jacqueline doing their best to find out who I am.

Edrin is a liar. He uses his position as an attorney to have you trust him and he will tell you X but then you will learn that it was untrue and a deliberate lie. The lie was told to you so that you will do something different than your original plans - he told me word for word, "Trust me, I am a lawyer". Well, don't trust him, his only allegiance is to the dollar, not to the truth or to his moral obligation. He should be disbarred. He allowed his clients to lie under oath multiple times (even though he knew that the information was a lie, which is called suborning perjury) and he allowed Ben and Moran to avoid depositions in multiple cases using medical information that he knew was not true. The sad thing is that in today's climate we do not need any more tropes of the grubby, Jewish lawyer doing anything for the almighty buck. Antisemitism is a real problem that needs to be combated in all facets, online and in person, but people like Edrin make it so very hard. Ironically, Edrin's last name, Shamtob, which means "Good name" is given to members of the community who have an extraordinary commitment to ethical behavior in the Jewish community. Very sad to see that Edrin in no way lives up to his ancestors example, just like his clients.
